qrcAnalytics Software Platform Receives NCQA AMP Measure Certification
SANTA CLARA – qrcAnalytics is an analytics, and education company that develops innovative technology for value-based healthcare organizations. qrcAnalytics is pleased to announce it has met the requirements specified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Align Measure and Performance (AMP) Certification for MY2020 (Measurement Year 2020).
This is the third consecutive year of meeting the requirements and obtaining the certification.
The NCQA AMP certification is a yearly, rigorous process that compares the vendor’s quality measure results to expected NCQA results, therefore verifying that the code in the vendor’s software computes the measures correctly. Upon successful completion of all measures, NCQA issues a final certification report and seal indicating that the vendor can process and compute quality measures accurately. Less than 20 vendors achieved the certification for MY2019. The AMP program is the first program in the nation to focus on quality initiatives.
Gene Rondenet, Founder, CEO, and CTO of qrcAnalytics has been an advocate for value-based care for over a decade and has worked extensively with quality measures in the California Pay for Performance program founded in 2001. The California Value Based Pay for Performance (VBP4) is the largest alternative payment model in the United States. It is a statewide initiative managed by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) on behalf of 10 health plans. The program is the longest-running example of data aggregation and standardized results across diverse regions and multiple health plans.
Inspired by the impact of VBP4P, Gene Rondenet collaborated with his development team to design the qrcEngine™ to provide the highest quality reporting and submissions aligned with care and risk management based on the NCQA and CMS rules. Entities using a third-party vendor for calculation of measure will be required to use a NCQA certified vendor in measurement year 2021. Health plans and organizations using NCQA-Certified vendors save time by eliminating the annual manual source code review portion of the measure compliance audit.
