Santa Clara, CA – qrcAnalytics, an innovative technology company providing analytics software for value-based healthcare organizations is pleased to announce it has met the requirements specified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Align Measure and Performance (AMP) certification for Measurement Year (MY) 2022.
For the fifth consecutive year, the NCQA organization has certified the algorithms contained in the qrcAnalytics software platform that calculate all AMP quality metrics for both Provider Organizations (PO) and Managed Care Organizations (MCO). qrcAnalytics has also been certified for the third year in a row for the NCQA HEDIS and Allowable Adjustment Measures for MY 2022.
The Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) AMP program is used extensively and successfully in California and is the first program in the nation to focus on quality measures. It is the largest value-based performance improvement program in the United States. According to the IHA website the “AMP uses a common stakeholder-approved measure set and methodology to create clear performance benchmarks designed to reward high-performing providers.”
California healthcare organizations participating in the IHA program are required to utilize an NCQA certified platform to report results for MY 2022. Beginning in MY 2021, all health plans and provider organizations must either transition to an NCQA-certified vendor or contract directly with NCQA for certification of their software via the automated source code review (ASCR) process.
The NCQA HEDIS® Health Plan Measures certifies health information technology (HIT) vendors for all certifiable measures reported to NCQA. Any entities that do not submit measures to NCQA but use HEDIS® measures in a commercial product or service must be certified on all measures used.
The rigorous annual certification process compared the qrcAnalytics quality measure results to the expected NCQA results and verified that the qrcAnalytics software computes each quality measure correctly and accurately.
qrcAnalytics is one of less than 10 HIT vendors to achieve both the NCQA AMP Measures and NCQA HEDIS® Health Plan Measures and Allowable Adjustment Measures certification for MY 2022.
Gene Rondenet, Founder, CEO and CTO of qrcAnalytics, together with his development team, have created an industry leading analytics software platform, the qrcEngine™, that helps healthcare organizations to manage quality of care, healthcare risk and cost, all aligned with the rules imposed by CMS and the certification requirements of the NCQA.
Mr. Rondenet stated, “We have created a solution that provides our clients with immediate real-time access to meaningful and actionable information from unlimitedly large volumes of data thereby allowing our client organizations to not only report their scores in the required manner but to provide pathways to improving the quality of care to patients, to be fairly and appropriately compensated for all their delivered services and to manage healthcare risk in a value-based environment.” The fully utilized qrcAnalytics platform provides the foundation for an environment of continuous improvement.
